this shadow
this spirit
that hovers me
and secures me
protects me
never neglect me
for it loves me
his kindness
that overwhelms me
his peace
that tranquilizes
my whole soul
he is bright
as the moon
and as still
as the waters
his hands
are always planted
firmly
around me
causing me
to feel
accepted
and loved
his anger
only allows me
to be punished
for things
that i was aware of
but never wanted to admit to
my faults
understanding
and forgiving
unlike man
there is no need
for a reason
to question
his authority
he is who he is
